History
They are a 26 year old company established
since July 2004 as a 100% EOU. They are ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certified by
British Standards Instituted since October 2004.They have tie – ups with strong
foreign Cos. In different product areas and have been in export since 1987.
They have totally revamped their product portfolio in the last 3-5 years due to
which considerable restructuring had to be done and are now in a stronger
position due to their new products and opportunities available.
Operation
The company
registered a total turnover of Rs. 96.989 during the year as compared to Rs.
93.882 during the previous year. The export sales amounted to Rs. 76.332 (P. Y.
Rs. 62.095)
The production
at 39 tons is higher by 26 tons than the previous year 313 tons. The year
2004-2005 was a turnaround year for the company after the difficulties faced in
the previous year 2003-2004. The company continued its efforts to developed new
and improved products and hence, sales of products introduced in the previous
year was 56% of total net sales in 2004-2005 as compared to 54% of total net
sales 2003-2004
Future
Outlook
As a result of all the initiatives taken by the company to future improved the products mix and attract new customers, turnover in 2005-2006 is expected to increased by ateast 15% over the previous year. Also the production of sales from new products is expected to go up future. It is expected that the Company. Shall make net profit during financial year 2005-2006.

History:
In 1980 after 3 decades as wholesale
textile merchants, the Choksi Family decided to diversify into the manufacture
of color chemicals. Extensive research had recommended two products – Naphthols
and Bon Acid. Hence Anar Chemical Industries was born.
As a results of the quick strides the company made, the range of products was
augmented over the years to include Metal Phthalocyanines, Phthalocyanine Green
Pigment and Non-Benzidine Acid/Direct Dyes, and Liquid Petroleum dyes, and side
by side, a trading range of dyes and pigments was also developed in order to
better serve the needs of customers and a strategy also formulated to give
emphasis to international business. And hence Anar International was born.
Anar Chemical Industries ( ACI ) is the manufacturing company certified under
both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 for development, manufacture and sale of
Dyes, Pigments, Intermediates and related Speciality Chemicals. Anar
International Pvt Ltd (AI) is the marketing company certified under ISO
9001:2000 for overseas marketing of such products.
Today their products go to all the major continents - The
Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia etc.

products in their lines of manufacture as well as for improved quality and
performance of existing products and processes.
For this we have dedicated staff who have major achievements
to their credit including pioneering development of new Naphthols, Speciality
Metal Phthalocyanines, Specialty chemicals and new amine-free dyes complying
with the stringent German Ordinance. Their R&D efforts are aided by a well
- stocked Library and membership of STN International, equipments like HPLC,
colour matching computer, UV-VIS spectrophotometer, lab autoclave,
multi-stirrer, lab chlorination unit and pilot plant etc.
