Indian Idol is the greatest platform for budding
singers and the show is of international format. I have certainly gained
confidence after six months of Journey towards the crown of Indian Idol."
4/12/2006,HT Indore Live -
![]()
Indian Idol finalist Sandeep Acharya from Bikaner
(Rajasthan) said this in an interaction with press persons in the City today.
Sandeep was in the City to promote himself as the

Indore.
Sandeep who hails from a traditional joint family
learned music from his aunt Saraswati and Ratandeep Hemraj for 10 years. He has
been based in Mumbai for last two years.
With complete family support to pursue playback
singing, Sandeep hopes that people would remember his voice too some day.
This 21-year-old believes that one need 90 per cent
singing talent and 10 per cent mix of looks, personality and presentation.
Sandeep has faith in his voice and says he cannot
part with his good voice. Having had appreciation from people due to good looks
Sandeep feels that being on track is a must for singers.
Sandeep recalls the proud face of his parents
Chanda and Vijay Acharya and mentions that being an Indian Idol finalist is a
matter of pride in itself.
When asked about this Indian Idol finalist's
