Activities
Export Activities
Krishi Rasayan pioneered the exports of Agro Chemicals in
India.
Our
export activities contribute 5% to our annual turnover of 7200 lakhs in 2002.
During the early 80's when the Indian Pesticides Industry was dependant on
import, we explored the possibilities of exporting fomulations from India and
have been exporting since 1979.
We had a tie up with M/s Shell Netherland to formulate their Aldrin dust and
export to Burma (Myanmar).
In 1985, when the total Indian Export was Rs.5 crores, our contribution was
40%.We were the first company to export Butachlor Technical, Chlorpyriphos
Technical, Gibberallic Acid and 2-4-D out of India.
Currently we have agents in Thailand, Taiwan, UAE, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia,
Oman, Greece, UK, Egypt, Mexico, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Australia and New
Zealand.

Solid Waste Management Project
We introduce
ourselves as one of the pioneers of Solid Waste Management Project in India. We are presently handling 100 TPD Solid Waste
Management Project at Puri (Orissa) and are in advanced negotiations with
Shimla Municipality (Himachal Pradesh) for a similar project.
The Project involves windrow dumping of the garbage which is biologically
treated with Bacterial powder. This treated garbage after different levels of
screening is converted into organic manure. The conversion ratio of garbage to
manure is 20%. The key to this Project for any organisation is to sell the
final product (Organic Manure).
The Organic Manure due to infusion of Bacteria is very beneficial for the soil
as Bacteria multiplies very fast in the soil and helps in the breakdown of
plant nutrients like Urea, Phosphate etc into available forms to the plants. It
also enriches physical properties of the soil i.e water holding capacity,
aeration. Thus it not only helps in increasing the physical property of the
soil as done by other Organic Manure's but also contributes in breakdown of
inorganic fertilizers which other Organic Manure's cannot do.
This process of Solid Waste Management is the most
cost effective method of disposal of Solid Waste for any Municipality. First of
all it reduces the requirement of land as there are no landfills required.
Secondly it reduces the number of work force engaged in handling garbage.
Moreover this method requires least amount of money and land, compared to other
Waste Management techniques available in our country.
Thus in the backdrop of the above advantages and
pollution hazardss caused by Solid waste, a proper systemized management of
Solid Waste has become essential. It also lays down the rules for proper Solid
Waste Management and timely execution of it.
This process is essentially Aerobic Composting of the garbage. The Solid Waste
is dried up naturally under the sunlight and is decomposed with the help of
bacterial culture powder and water. The process is the most efficient way of
disposing garbage as it is done within 22 days. This process also is the most
cost efficient as it requires least amount workforce, capital and labour which
is essential for any commercial enterprise to flourish.
