Doctaire Axial Flow Fan For Textile,
Textile, Tea, Steel, Thermal, Chemical & other Allied Industries.
Doctaire Axial Flow Fans are specially
designed to meet the general requirements of industrial ventilation and
humidification where the amounts of air handled are usually large at relatively
low pressure.
Doctaire
Axial Flow Fans are made in various sizes operating at different speeds to
cover a wide range of capacities from 7500 cfm to 75000 cfm air at pressure
from 0.25” to 2.5” WG either for ventilation or exhaust purpose
Efficiency of Doctaire Fans is high
because fundamental principles of Axial Flow Fan design have been observed
while manufacturing each fan. The blades are made of special aluminium alloy
casting having Aerofoil section, running in a strong steel cylindrical casing
to provide maximum efficiency and uniform airflow over the entire blades space
at minimum power consumption. The large correctly shaped and sized hub also of
cast aluminium alloy prevents the re-entry losses common to ordinary propeller
or ring mounted type fans. The inlet
bell can be provided on the suction side of the fan to allow for smooth and
uniform entry of air to the fan casing
The aerofoil designs are of variable
pitch and set at different pitch angles which features the most advanced
technology in fan engineering, offering flexibility in design and good facility
of varying or increasing the fan capacity within certain limits without
changing the installed HP of the motors. The pitch angle can be adjusted to
match with system resistance to give best optimum efficiency. The blades on the
hub are carefully and correctly mounted and the complete impeller is properly balanced
before assembly.
Doctaire Axial Flow Fans can be
supplied either ‘V’ belt driven or direct driven. The fans are provided arrangement of either floor mounting on
strong foundation or for grouting in masonry wall or for overhead suspension
from ceiling or roof by means of tie rods.
The fan can also be vertically mounted with special bearing arrangement.
All motors supplied for driving the fans are TEFC squirrel cage induction type
to work on 400/440 V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz supply.
ALSO ROOF EXTRACTORS, TUBE AXIAL AND VANE AXIAL FANS UPTO
2200 MM DIA AVAILABLE.
STANDARDS FOLLOWED : ASME SEC. VIII & IX, TEMA,
IS, BS ETC.
SCAPH - It is an extended
surface type heat exchanger. It is particularly used to heat the
atmospheric air to the required process temperature and pressure drop by means
of saturated steam. Steam flows inside the tube while air passes over the fins
and tubes.
CACW - It is an extended
surface type heat-exchanger, which is used to cool the hot air to the
atmospheric temperature by means of cooling water available from the cooling
tower. These equipment specifically are used for cooling of heavy duty AC/ DC
motors and alternator
CACA - It is
used to cool the hot air by the means of atmospheric air to the atmospheric
temperature. This type of cooler widely used for cooling heavy duty motors used
in sugar plants, cement plant and other heavy industries.
TFAPH
- It is an extended surface type heat-exchanger, which is most widely
used to heat the air where steam saturation temperature is not sufficient to
heat the air above the saturation temperature of the steam.
DEHUMIDIFIER -
It is used to improve the air quality. It removes the moisture contents from
the air reducing its relative humidity. Air to be dehumidified is sucked or
forced through direct cooling coil using chilled water resulting in
condensation of moisture contained in the air. The water droplets coalesce and
get separated, collected, in the bottom tray and drains continuously. Outgoing
dried air is heated, to maintain its desired process temperature through
heater. It is widely used in drying systems, food processing industries etc.
SHELL & TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER - It is the most common of various types of unfired
heat transfer equipment used in industry. Although it is not especially
compact, it is robust and its shape makes it well suited to pressure operation.
It is also versatile and it can be designed to suit almost any application.
Except for the special purpose air cooled heat exchanger, it is usually the
only type which can be considered for large surface areas having pressures
greater than 30 bar and temperature greater than 260 Deg C.
FIN TUBE CONSTRUCTION - It is made with exclusive “plate type fin
construction “combined with “staggered tube design”. Fin & tube module,
made from MS material, are hot dip galvanized while the other modules (SS,
Copper, Cupro-Nickel, Admiralty Brass Tubes etc) are expanded mechanically
which assures metal contact between the tubes and fin collar. Fins are
continuous across the entire height and depth and hence cleaning is simplified
and air flow resistance is held to a minimum. The headers are of the
“distributing type” wherein fluid is distributed through properly orificed
inner tubes which effects uniform flow distribution and temperature across
entire heater area. The frame will be channel shape fabricated from M.S.
sheets.

Air Pollution Control Systems
Doctaire
Bag Filters are designed to control Air Pollution in the industries where dust
is generated during manufacturing process.
Doctaire
Bag Filters are designed for high degree of dust separation, constantly
adopting them to the latest technological standard.
All
designs are completely enclosed in a steel structure body.
Pulse
Jet Filters ("WE" Series)
Pulse
jet type filters, THEY series, offers sequential cleaning of the filter
element, one after the other, the dust collection and filter cleaning can be
simultaneous. Also cleaning is at substantially higher pressure and hence on
line cleaning is possible without isolation of the chamber required to be
cleaned. Here are the standard design features of "THEY" series
filters.
CONSTRUCTION
The
jet filter consists mainly of the filter casing with a built in separation
chamber, a dust collecting storage, the filter envelopes with supporting cage
and multiple jets in every envelope and compressed air header plus distributor
tubes, diaphragm pilot valve and sequential timer. The filter casing is
made in sheet steel construction and welded at joints.
FUNCTION
The
dust laden air is led into the middle of filter casing. A preliminary
separation is obtained through a baffle plate. The light, fine dust
reaches the outside surface of the filter envelopes. the purified air is led to
the clean air plenum through envelope and is blown directly outside or is re-
circulated into HVAC duct after passing through HEPA filter.
Motorized Shaker Batch
Filters ("WAP" Series)
WAP
series of filters are used for batch operation. The typical application can be
separator to be installed at the end of pneumatic conveying pipe line. All WAP
series bag filters are having a motorized shaker. Customer can choose a
cleaning cycle interval of 5 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on the
intermittence of the connecting manufacturing process. The cleaning time can be
field adjustable upto 60 seconds. WAP series of filters are offered with
standard 56 liter bin. Standard filter elements are of rectangular cross
section. Manual butterfly valve can be provided at the discharge. Camlock
fitting is standard for the bin.
All
WAP units have access to fabric bags from one side. All WAP units have clean
air plenum on one side. The filter cages are designed for very very long life
because they are made from thick wire gauge and are powder coated. They do not
deform even after hundred bag changes. The depth of bag is small enough to get
completely cleaned. There are multiple jets to clean the filter bag. The
standard filter element is non woven needle felt polyester. Optional
alternatives can be offered on specific request.
Vent
Filters
The Air displaced during the filling of material storage
silos is vented through the filter media. Only clean air comes out and dust is
thrown back into the silo.
·
All vent filters are bottom flange mounted and
are of rectangular section. All vent filters are with Push Knob Shaker.
Cylindrical vent filters can be made on specific request.
·
All vent filters are offered with polyester
felt unless specified. Alternative filter element can be given on request.
·
All vent filters have access to bags from top.

avoid free hazard. Superior suction & blowing truck & nozzle
arrangement. Separate drive & fan motor with micro process based automatic
controls to monitor direction of unit, with auto stop & on arrangement.
Doctaire pneuma-col is not merely a
broken end collector. It is cleaner & a fly collector too. There is a
tendency for cotton fly to collect in the bossed area of fluted rollers on a
ring frame beyond the traverse of the yarn. The elongated orifice of larger
area helps reducing this to a minimum.
FLUTES:
Doctaire-Pneumacol is not merely a broken end collector. It is a cleaner
and a fly collector too. There is a tendency for cotton fly to collect in the
bossed area of fluted rollers on a ring frame beyond the traverse of the yarn.
The elongated orifice of larger helps reducing this to a minimum. The front
under clearer roller thus is superfluous. It is not the suction in the flute
that is important. What is important is the momentum of the air entering the
orifice and the flute. The Doctaire Pneuma-col gives a larger
volume of air at a higher velocity resulting in a higher momentum of air to
drag and convey cotton and fly. The flute is egg shaped without any other
curvature to avoid clogging of flutes.
The quantity of air handled by the pneuma-col system
forms a considerable part of the departmental air, which is handled from the
fluffy and hot regions, and gets filtered and drawn on one side of the
department. This filtered and clean air can either be exhausted outside or into
the department. When necessary and this can help keep department air in motion
and maintain uniform humidity across the frames.
