Prof. M.
N. Roy, founder of this organisation was an eminent Applied Physicist. In his
early career he pioneered design and manufacturing of transformer in India.
Later he joined the department of Applied Physics Calcutta University and
gradually opened new dimensions in teaching Electrical Technology and Control
Engineering. Throughout his life he encouraged his students to practice
innovative engineering.
