LOCAL AGENCY FURTHER INFORMATION

Subject is engaged in the manufacture of piezoceramics and its related applications at Dehradun- India. The unit is managed by Mr Sunil Kapoor who is Ceramics Engineer from IT-BHU, and has got considerable experience in this field. At present they are engaged in the manufacture of piezoceramics in DCPL-4,& DCPL-5 grade along with custom made requirements of the construction and manufacture of Ultrasound Transducers, Medical Probes, Vibration Pickups, Dynamic Force transducers

The most commonly produced Piezo Electric Ceramics are Lead Zirconate Titanate involving detailed processing. Due to their ceramic nature, these Piezo Electric materials can be given almost any shape or size with the direction of polarisation freely chosen to meet the individual needs of transducer designers. By slightly changing the chemical composition of materials, it is possible to emphasize one or more specific properties, so that special requirements of certain applications can be met.

DCPL-5 Grade Material:

High Generating Sensitivity & Good Temperature stability

It is a modified Lead Zirconate Titanate Ceramic, providing transducer elements with high electro mechanical coupling coefficient and high charge sensitivity and curie temp of 3500 C, used for sensing applications like ultrasonic flaw detection, under water echo sounding, pressure gauges, strain gauges, accelerometers, medical Instruments, flow meters, NDT systems, Level gauges and many other devices.

DCPL-4 GRADE MATERIAL:

HARD MATERIAL FOR HIGH POWER APPLICATIONS

It is modified Lead Zirconate Titanate Ceramic, capable of withstanding high levels of mechanical stress & electrical excitation. They are ideally suitable for use in Ultrasonic Cleaners, Ultrasonic Dental Scalers, Medical beauty devices, Ultrasound therapy equipments, Lliquid atomisation and Ultrasound transducers. They are capable of producing large mechanical drive amplitudes, while maintaining low dielectric losses.
