field reporter revealed the following:
The address is commercial premises outside of which SC's name was
seen on display.
The area of the premises is not known as our field reporter could
not gain entrance to the premises.
Our reporter then enquired a male at the unit's door entrance. He
claimed that he was staff member of SC.
He advised that only SC's principal(s) could handle outside
parties' business enquiries on SC. Despite our request, he refused providing
SC's phone no.
He had promised to pass our message & deliver our brochure
& questionnaire to SC's principal(s). However, we have not yet received any
reply.
Our current inquiry reveals that no such name as SC is registered
as a current user of local fixed line telephone companies.
In Hong Kong, it is quite an unusual practice for an active
company not having any telephone line registered under its own name; as this
will directly hinder its potential customers to contact them & its
activeness in the local market is also in doubt.
