About College:

 

Genba Sopanrao Moze Trust was established in the year 1986 at Yerwada. This was the first private institution in this area. Shri Rambhau Moze the founder President of the trust after having seen the plight of the socially and economically underprivileged class of this area dedicated himself for the up lift  and emancipation of the down trodden class. His first priority was to empower them with wholesome education. Yerawada was chosen as the nerve centre of activity which needed progress in the educational field. As a result of his dedicated and tireless effort the Trust was successful in starting a large number of Educational Institutions in and around Yerawada

 

LOCATION

The college campus is sprawled over 10 acres of land in the picturesque surroundings of Balewadi adjoining the Chatrapati Shivaji National Stadium astride the National Highway and close to the Hinjawadi InfoTech Park. Far from the pollution and congestion of the city , the college offers the best surroundings for academic pursuit. It is well connected by public transport system to all important locations in and around Pune. In addition, for the convenience of our students, College bus is running service to different locations which cover all the important routes. Thus for daily commuting no student will experience any problem. 

 

INFRASTRUCTURE

The complete infrastructure required for the College was created in a record time span of just three years. Now the Campus is fully developed and well established, with all the amenities for students for their academic pursuit extra curricular activities, sports and hobbies. The College is accommodated in three multi storied buildings having more than 1, 25,000 Sq Ft of built up area .This is in excess of all the norms laid down by the AICTE .A third building of 50,000 Sq Ft is coming up in the campus and is expected be complete by June 2004.A spacious Workshop Complex of 10,000 Sq Ft area is an added attraction to the aspirants of the Mechanical Discipline. The beautification of the Campus is in full swing and when completed it will come up as a picturesque Campus.

ADMISSION TO NEXT HIGHER YEAR                                                                                                               

Admission to Next higher year is automatic provided he/she satisfies the requirement of term work and have appeared for all the examinations.

  1. All Students should take provisional admission to next higher year on reopening of the College after every even semester and they should pay the College fee as notig\fied within the prescribed time limit.
  2. Since there will be a large time gap between the announcement of the results and the beginning of the d\session students are not wait for the results. All students at\re to pay the fees and take admission in the next higher year. In the unfortunate event of any student failing to get ATKT then the student can withdraw and get his fees refunded.

However no student will be permitted to wait till the results are announced and then take admission. Students who fail to take admission by paying the fees within the prescribed time will be heavily penalized.
