-- was incorporated in 1920. Over the past 80 years, it has provided its
consumers with the world's finest Basmati rice. Today the Company markets 8
brands of Basmati rice which includes the famous 817 Elephant Pure Basmati
Rice.
`817 Elephant' brand is an
exclusive brand for special grade Basmati rice. Beside this brand, the Company
also markets `A' grade Basmati rice under brand names of `Laxmi' and ` Jahan'
brands. Under the secondary grade `B', the Company markets Basmati rice under `
butterfly', `AAA', Kasturi', `Sona' and `Janta' brands.
The Company also
manufactures Brown ( unpolished ) Basmati Rice and is marketing in bulk
supplies to various polishing mills in Europe and in different consumer
packages to speciality health food Worldwide Stockists in
Besides Basmati Rice, the
Company is manufacturing and marketing Indian Long Grain Rice, Raw and
Parboiled under different brands, in bulk quantities as well in different
consumer packaging.
Indian Long Grain White
Rice is manufactured in different qualities namely 2 to 5% brokens, 15- 20%
brokens, 25% brokens and 100% brokens and packaged in polypropylene bags of 50Kgs
bulk and also in consumer packs depending upon the customer's requirements.
Parboiled Long Grain Rice with brokens of about 2 to 5% is manufactured in
`creamy' as well as in `golden' colour. The Company has the distinction of
