FURTHER INFORMATION
AS PER WEBSITE
With a humble beginning in 1987, Shiv Industries began with
a single - minded determination to explore opportunities in the Precision Turned
Components manufacturing industry and thus started its pursuit of perfection
and its zeal for complete customer satisfaction.
Adding
value to every batch manufactured, by earning and keeping customer trust and by
helping customers earn and keep the trust of their own customers. Shiv
Industries has created a distinct niche for itself in the business.
The
hallmarks of their Company have always been high quality, timely deliveries and
customer commitments. The Company's clear aim is to maintain and enhance their
enviable position in the market.
Shiv Industries are today engaged in the manufacturing and
sub-assembly of precision components, of complex design and close manufacturing
tolerances, for the automotive, and electrical and industries.
The Mission
The continuous development of a company that partners
customers in their progress... delivering products with zero defect... on
time.... every time. Targeting always to surpass their expectations of them.
The Quality Policy
"To achieve and maintain leadership in manufacturing
precision components, by adopting continual improvement methods and employee
motivation."
Quality Focus
In Shiv Industries, continuous improvements of processes is
not an assignment, but a way of life. This tradition of quality consciousness
is linked directly to the Group's history of excellence and success.
Raw materials are sourced predominantly from reputed steel mills and customer
approved suppliers. Predictive equipment maintenance schedules ensure process
capability at all times.
As a preventive measure, statistical techniques are applied for critical
product characteristics, to enable early warning and for detection of failures.
The skilled workforce is well aware of these statistical techniques and hence
timely corrective actions are initiated through a process of operator
inspection.
To ensure accurate measurement of all characteristics on manufactured parts,
the individual units have obtained a variety of measuring instruments .Thus,
customers are assured of optimized processes and product characteristics that
are verified constantly.
Customer Ratings
They have been consistently rated over a period of 18 years
as an 'A' category supplier for Quality and Delivery by their reputed customer.
Over this period, their operating companies have received Performance Awards
and Awards for Excellence.
Further, both operating companies qualify for self-inspection and 'Just In
Time' supply of components for delivery to the Customer assembly lines.
In addition to supplying to a substantial number of domestic customers, their
components and sub-assemblies are exported to the Customers' plants in USA and
UK.
