BRIEF HISTORY AND FUTURE OVERVIEW

The present day business of Offshore Infrastructures Ltd was originally established as a partnership firm during the year 1984.


The firm started with a meager order in 1984 and within a short span of five years established it self as a reliable and reputed mechanical construction agency handling Multi crores projects for reputed and renowned industry majors in the field of Chemicals/ Petrochemicals / Dyestuff / Pharma and Bulk Drugs /Metallurgy and Textile Industries.

 

From 1984 till 1992 Offshore concentrated on undertaking Mechanical Construction contracts involving Equipment Erection and Piping Fabrication & Erection activities for industrial plants all over India. Considering the growing demands of the industry during the industrial boom of 90’s, the firm expanded its activities in 1992 and started undertaking major Civil construction projects. This turned out to be mutually beneficial to the firm and to the serviced industries as substantial orders were placed by clients for Civil and Mechanical contracts clubbed together.

 

The company evolved during next five years, with manifold growth in it activities and encompassed almost all the disciplines of Industrial Construction. In the new millennium instead of being mere Mechanical contractor, the company came to be known as composite engineering construction company and became ONE STOP SHOP for the Industry needs of :-

During the year 1995 Offshore Infrastructures Ltd was formed and all business activities were shifted to new entity.
From the year 2000 onwards the company expanded further and started undertaking public utility and Infrastructure projects. Since last six years company is vigorously involved in Infrastructure works of:-

Today, company’s major involvement is in Infrastructure, Petroleum Refineries, Oil Terminals & Stations, Nuclear facilities, Fertilizers plants, Pharma/Bulk Drug / Chemical Plants of private sector and multinationals. The list of clients include names like IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, GAIL, Mahanagar Gas, Cairn Energy, BARC,GNFC, RCF,BHEL Ranbaxy, Cipla, Colgate, Hindustan Lever, Jhonson & Jhonson, Delhi Jal Board, Karnataka Urban Water Supply, Gujarat Water Supply, Karnataka Housing Board, Karnataka Police Housing Corp., Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure, and many more. They have executed projects under consultants of repute like EIL, Mecon, RITES, FEDO, TOYO, Kvaerner, Powergas, UHDE, Gherzi Eastern and like.

 

To reach higher plateau of business achievement and service excellence, alongwith expanding areas of activities and client base the company invested substantially in providing training to the manpower and devising and implementing management systems. The company has created trained and dedicated manpower pool as the backbone of the service to the varied public, private, multinational and defence sector clients and earned ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

 

Today company can boast of being one of its own kind of medium size engineering construction company providing services for building all types of Composite industrial projects, Nuclear facilities, Petroleum refineries and Terminals, Housing and Infrastructures, Hospitals and Installations of Strategic importance. They are enlisted / registered with various Water boards, Housing boards, Oil PSU’s, Multinationals, FMCG and Pharma giants, Military Engineering services, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and many more industrial and utility / infrastructure providers and for ADB funded infrastructure projects.
