SISTER UNIT:
Bapurao Deshmukh College of Engineering was established in the year 1983
under the parent body-Yeshwant Rural Education Society and supporting body
Shri.Bapuraoji Deshmukh Foundation, Wardha with a view to cater technical
education to students from all over the country, including rural population,
under a calm and peaceful academic environment and on the sacred land of
Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave. The institute offers full time under-graduate
course of four years duration leading to a Bachelor Degree in Civil,
Mechanical, Production, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication,
Electronics and Power Electronics, Computer Engineering and Information
Technology disciplines with an annual intake of four hundred and sixty
students. An intensive interdisciplinary conceptual framework supplemented by
wide exposure to modern practical environment is offered by this institute
which is achieved through workshops, seminars, symposiums etc. and also
training in industry during vacations. The institute is affiliated with Nagpur
University, duly approved by AICTE and graded `A' by the Government of
Maharashtra.
