effect from the status of company was changed Private Limited Company.
In its continued efforts to excel in transformer care, Subject is now
manufacturing and marketing a “World’s Unique Product Sensofast On-Line Fault
Monitoring System” for transformers. Sensofast is an On-Line Fault Monitoring
System for transformers that senses the very inception of any fault in the
transformer. It gives us great pleasure that Sensofast is the recipient of the
Best Product Award in ELECRAMA – 2002.
In addition recently they have developed a software solution that can monitor
up to 64 transformers for 04 parameters for each transformer. The four
parameters are: -
·
Gas level – sensed by Sensofast On-Line Fault Monitoring System
·
Winding Temperature
·
Oil Temperature
·
Load

Diagnostics, Condition Monitoring, Life Assessment And Life Improvement
Of Transformers
Transformers
are a vital link in the distribution of electrical power in Industrial Plants
and Power Stations. But they are most neglected part. In today’s scenario they
are the easiest to maintain and hardest to replace equipments.
Life
of the Transformer is reflected by the insulation condition of all the parts of
Transformer. The followings are the parts, which constitute a Transformer.
1. Transformer core
2. Transformer windings
3. HV / LV Bushings
4. Transformer Oil
5. Paper / Solid Insulation
So
the life of transformer is based on the Insulation Life of the above-mentioned
parts.
Establishing
a sound and consistent Predictive and Preventive maintenance programme will
prolong the life of Transformers. For this very purpose we are to carry out
certain tests and maintenance which are described by various International
Standards whose Significance are as follows:-
