[Kampery] is a member of the Kampery Group which is owned by Mr. Simon Wong Ka Wo who is a Hong Kong merchant.  The Kampery Group is specialized in coffee roasting, coffee trading, tea bag manufacturing, black tea and China tea trading, foodstuffs and beverages trading, coffee machines and equipment trading, and servicing, as well as food retailing.  Its mission is to develop the coffee and tea culture for the food industry in Hong Kong and China.

Kampery is specialized in importing and exporting high quality coffee machines from around the world for industrial use, commercial use, or residential use.  The coffee machines are imported from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, etc. which are renowned for their coffee making.

Formerly Kampery was a member of Tsit Wing Coffee Group which provides coffee bean and coffee brewery equipment to 7-Eleven chain stores.  Spun off from Tsit Wing Coffee Group on 16th August, 1993 as the owner Mr. Wong Ka Wo sold all his interests in Tsit Wing to another partner, Mr. Wong Tak Tong.

When Kampery is fully under the management of Mr. Wong Ka Wo, it started to penetrate in the China market.  The following years saw the establishment of numerous companies so that the Kampery Group has taken shape.

Kampery and Organic Garden Biotechnology Ltd. have offices in Hong Kong, China and Canada.  The Group, at present, has established five major sales offices in China   (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Foshan, Dongguan and Guangzhou) and two in Canada (Toronto and Canada).

In Hong Kong, the Group has set up a sub-office located at 13/F., Vulcan House, 21-23 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

In addition to products concerning coffee and tea, the Group also offers cold and hot drink dispensers, potato chips, coconut milk, evaporated full cream milk, evaporated filled milk, etc.  Apart from its own brands “Dai Pai Dong”, “Coffee Chateau” and “Kampery”, the Group can provide private labelling services for food institutions.  The products are sold to supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and all food institutions.

The Guangzhou subsidiary, Mocaroma (Guangzhou) Ltd., is equipped with a production plant for the roasting and blending of various premium grade coffee beans.  Besides different types of coffee beans, black tea, China tea, and other food items such as evaporated milk, coconut cream, filled milk are traded.  With hard efforts invested in years, Mocaroma (Guangzhou) Ltd., together with Kampery, has become the largest coffee machine trader in China.

In China, over 10 distributors have been appointed in various cities and regions for the boosting of sales activities and distribution.  For example, Chengdu, Hanzhou, Wuhan, Harbin, Dalian, Guilin, Shenyang, Nanjing, Chongqing, Zhuhai, etc.

Recently, the Group has invested interests in the following China companies:-

Franchise Program is available for all of its retail outlets including “Dai Pai Dong” and “Coffee Chateau”.  In the past years, the Group has already opened 13 Dai Pai Dong Restaurants including a newly opened Tseung Kwan O Shop in June 2003.

EURO Cafe is a concept cafe created by the Coffee Chateau.  It is located at the Airport Express inside Hong Kong Station.  EURO Cafe is a coffee shop and an art gallery.  At EURO Cafe, art pieces produced by various artists are displayed for customers to appreciate.  From time to time, art exhibitions are also held for viewing.  Customers can enjoy a cup of EURO Cafe’s fine coffee while absorbing the art surrounding them.  EURO Cafe will also open a second shop at the Airport Express in Kowloon Station.

The Kampery Group has acquired “Kin Yat Kitchen”, a chain restaurant of “Lee Kam Kee Group” on 1st January, 2001.  Dai Pai Dong Retail Shops Ltd. has now been responsible for managing the operation of “Kin Yat Kitchen”.

In September 1998, Kampery has received the HKMA/TVB Marketing Award for the entry of “Dai Pai Dong – Passion of Hong Kong”.  In 2001, “Dai Pai Dong” renowned The Top Ten Brand.  Kampery is the first company in the world to introduce Yuan Yang (coffee and tea mix) prepacked products, including: “Yuan Yang Filter Bags” and “3 in 1 Yuan Yang Sachets” (coffee + tea + sugar + cream).  Now, Kampery is the largest coffee machine trader and the supplier of the most variety of brands in coffee machines in Hong Kong and China  .  90% of food outlets in the Hong Kong International Airport (Chek Lap Kok Airport) uses Kampery’s coffee machines and coffee related products.

Having a history of over 19 years in Hong Kong, the subject is fully supported by Mr. Wong Ka Wo.
