cooperation with MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CORP, Japan.
1964 - Switchgear
awarded the National Bureau of Standards Symbol of Excellence.
1966 - Manufacturing
started for large transformers, automobile motorcycle equipment.
1969 - Approved by the
government to be public listed.
1973 - Established the
Hsin-Feng Plant to manufacture molded case circuit breakers and
magnetic
switches.
1979 - Established the
information system. The Heavy Electric Factory awarded Symbol
of
Excellence by the National Standards Bureau.
1984 - Developed the programmable
logic controllers into the market.
1990 - Established the
monitor system showroom in order to develop the monitor system
business,
which was provided with four sets of exhibition equipment in terms of power,
formula,
data collection and water processing exhibition systems
1990 - Mrs. Suzanne Hsu
succeeded Mr. Chin-Te Hsu as the Chairman of the Board.
1993 - Official commencement of the 1st Automation Factory
January 1993 - Sucessfully fulfilled the
registration with automation service
sector of the Industrial
Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
1994 - Completion of
computer on-line links for the sales outlets throughout the island.
1995 - Started the
ROCSAT-1 Component Solar Array Panel Assembly (SAPA) program to build
the Solar Array of Taiwan's first
satellite ROCSAT-1. This is supported by the National
Space
Program Office (NSPO) and technology assistance from TRW.
1997 - Official
commencement for the Shihlin Yangte Building. Successful delivery of
ROCSAT-1
space Qualified Solar Array.
December 1997 - Fabricated the Space Qualified Solar
Array and was successfully delivered to NSPO.
1998 - Established the
Hsinchu Automobile Equipment Plant
1999 - Mr Emmet Hsu
appointed President of the Board

commencement of HsinChu super high voltage transformer factory,
manufacturing 161/345KV transformers

Automation System project (DAS)
for Taichung and Taipei city.
2002 - Established
branch office in Mainland China (TianJin, BeiJing) and DongGuan Office;
- Heavy
Electric Division successfully developed the 23KV GIS, 161KV GIS ,and 345KV
650MVA
transformers and the SF6 161KV transformer products
- Set up
strategic alliance with major international companies (jointly manufactured
sensors
with SUNX in SuZhou; cooperated to manufacture CRTR with SCHNEIDER
in
SuZhou; and cooperated to manufacture 4-wheel automobile parts with
MITSUBISHI).
