The saga of Samsons
commenced in the beginning of the third decade i.e. in 1932 under the
entrepreneurship Late Shri.Gandalal Shah and Mr. Vadilal Motasha at a young age
of 18, selling Tonga wheels; ancillaries; lantern carriers and later began
selling automobile parts under the name of 'Motor Hood Depot' in Mumbai.
The pioneering entrepreneur of the group started the flagship company NLC in 1962. It is engaged in manufacturing of Artificial Leathercloth and is one of the largest manufacturers in the world with installed capacity of 13.5 million square meters with 3 Coating lines.
