The Company's overall performance during the year has improved. The sales and other income increased to Rs.3247.614 millions from Rs. 2319.158 millions in preceding year i.e. registered a growth of more than 40%. Similarly profit before tax enhanced to Rs, 136.994 millions from Rs, 60.063 millions i.e. growth of more than 128%.

 

Net profit (PAT) for the year stood at Rs. 118.317 millions as compared to Rs.50.880 millions in the previous year. Company is hopeful of significant growth in coming years also in view of positive economic environment of the country and world as well.

In fact, BEC Impex International Private Limited was set up to cater to the demands of the international market. With exports of over 6000 tonnes of castings and total product exports worth over Rs. 500 million in three years.

Subject, with its long experience in heavy engineering, a rich pool of expertise and an infrastructure to match, has the necessary strengths to undertake projects in various fields.

 

Starting with a material handling system a few years ago for Bhilai Steel Plant, It rapidly chalked up achievements like India's first Tar Bonded Blast Furnace Masses and Compound Shop for Vizag Steel Plant- a highly complex job with sophisticated processes and controls.

 

Subject has successfully executed massive project for Durgapur Steel Plant's modernisation programme. Amalgamation

The petition of merger scheme of BEC Industries Limited with the company w.e.f. 01.04.1999 as approved by Board of Directors in its meeting held on 24.08.1999 was pending with Honourable Chhattisgarh High Court. The merger effect shall be taken soon after the scheme was approved by the Honourable Chhattisgarh High Court.

 

In fact, BEC Impex International Private Limited was set up to cater to the demands of the international market. With exports of over 6000 tonnes of castings and total product exports worth over Rs. 500 million in three years.

With an American collaboration, BEC also manufactures Plant Growth Regulators. These help in phenomenal growth in the plants.

 

Food Processing Plant a modern Food Processing Unit is engaged in the manufacture of Tomato, Mango, Guava and Papaya Pulp and concentrates in aseptic packaging. A large scale agricultural extension project has been in operation for last several years for development of hybrid varieties of tomatoes and other items.

 

 

Products made by the BEC Group have won markets around the world. The high quality of engineering products and special steel castings made by the company for Steel Plants, Railways, Mining and Cement Plants have won the confidence of industries in Japan Russia, Middle East, Africa,  Egypt, Iran, USA and UK.

Nagpur Fabriforge (P) Limited

This group Company is engaged in the manufacture of LPG Cylinders for domestic and industrial use. The Company has an extensive range of products which includes Scooter Wheel Rims, Compressor Shells for Refrigerators and Air Conditioners, Ammunition Boxes for Defense and host of other Deep Drawn and Pressed Components.

 

Bharat Industrial Works

This Group Company is engaged in Structural Fabrication and Erection of Steel Structures. Its services touch the very core sector industries in India - Power Plants.
