Thirumurga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal Medical Educational and Charitable Trust was founded in the year 1981 at Salem in Tamil Nadu, India. This is a registered Trust, totally self – supporting with the dedicated Philanthropist and Educationalist.
Dr. A Shanmugasundaram as the Chancellor, founder and Chairman.
To supplemental the government efforts in increasing and improving the trained manpower in Medical / Technical and Management through education in theses areas as a part of Human Resource Development
Providing charitable services in the form of free Medical and Health Services to the needy and under privileged.
As a first step in pursuance of the aim a humble beginning was made by establishing Vinayak Missions College of pharmacy at Salem in 1981. Since then a number of technical, Medical, dental, Homeopathic, paramedical institutions and teacher training institutions were established in different parts of India.
The concern, 410 bed super specialty Care Hospital, is the first Corporate Hospital in Salem.
