Subject offers the full range of analytical services for the quality assessment of dielectric fluids and early detection of incipient faults in oil-filled electrical equipments. Located in NEW DELHI, the specialized laboratory was established in 1991 as the first commercial laboratory to offer complete Transformer Care in India. The firm is serving to various State Electricity Boards and Industrial organizations, which are maintaining the electrical transformers or purchasing Transformer Oil.

Subject has the capacity to carry out the testing 2400 samples per annum of Transformer Oil.

The Company was certified for Electrical Testing By NABL on 29.10.1997 with effect from the status of company was changed Private Limited Company.

In its continued efforts to excel in transformer care, Subject is now manufacturing and marketing a “World’s Unique Product Sensofast On-Line Fault Monitoring System” for transformers. Sensofast is an On-Line Fault Monitoring System for transformers that senses the very inception of any fault in the transformer. It gives us great pleasure that Sensofast is the recipient of the Best Product Award in ELECRAMA – 2002.

In addition recently they have developed a software solution that can monitor up to 64 transformers for 04 parameters for each transformer. The four parameters are: -

·         Gas level – sensed by Sensofast On-Line Fault Monitoring System

·         Winding Temperature

·         Oil Temperature

·         Load

The company has grown up to be truly of National Nature as it is catering to the requirements of companies through out India, surpassing the Geographical Barriers. Over 400 customers are the backbone of the company those have given it Repeat business over the years due its professional competence.

The company is continuously on the rising trends and will definitely touch new Horizons in the years to come backed by its powerful workforce and those great clients feeling satisfied.

Total Transformer Care Solutions

It is the one and only company in India which provides Total Transformer care, having it’s own Laboratory, Filed Service Operations and High Vacuum and Hot oil reconditioning System.

It provides Off Line Fault Detection, On line Fault Sensor- Sensofast, Life Assessment, Oil Testing, Oil Reconditioning, Transformer Refurbishment and Protection System Care.

Diagnostics, Condition Monitoring, Life Assessment And Life Improvement Of Transformers

Transformers are a vital link in the distribution of electrical power in Industrial Plants and Power Stations. But they are most neglected part. In today’s scenario they are the easiest to maintain and hardest to replace equipments.

Life of the Transformer is reflected by the insulation condition of all the parts of Transformer. The followings are the parts, which constitute a Transformer.

1.    Transformer core

2.    Transformer windings

3.    HV / LV Bushings

4.    Transformer Oil

5.    Paper / Solid Insulation

So the life of transformer is based on the Insulation Life of the above-mentioned parts.

Establishing a sound and consistent Predictive and Preventive maintenance programme will prolong the life of Transformers. For this very purpose we are to carry out certain tests and maintenance which are described by various International Standards whose Significance are as follows:-

IN THE TOTAL TRANSFORMER CARE PACKAGE WE PROVIDE

1.    Sensofast - Online Fault Monitoring System

2.    D.G.A. - Off line Fault Detection

 3.    Oil Analysis as per IS : 1866

Tests                                Significance

1.       Electric Strength      Check Oil Insulation Value / Level

2.       Water Content         Check dissolved moisture-affecting Insulation

3.       Resistivity                Affecting the insulation of core and Windings

9.       Dissolved Gas          Check Internal Fault viz. Arcing, Sparking

Analysis                   Hot Spot and Overheating Etc.

4.        R.L.A. – Residual Life Assessment

Tests                                                 Significance

1.    Furan Analysis                             Furfural Contents in Oil, which reduces Insulation Life of the Transformers

2.    De-Polymerization Of Paper           Decomposition of Insulating Paper

5.         On site Oil Reconditioning / Reclamation

Tests                                                 Significance

1.    Dehydration / Filtration                  Improve Electric Strength and Water Contents Improve the Oil Quality
