chemical, and petrochemical industries, as well as for structural uses

 

and energy production. Its product range includes seamless pipes, cold-drawn

 

products, welded pipes, and gas cylinders. The company is based in Dalmine

 

with operations in Europe, the United States, Asia, and Africa. Dalmine

 

S.p.A operates as a subsidiary (as ultimate company) of Tenaris SA.

 

2009 was for the company a difficult financial year: as of Sept. 30, 2009,

 

it faced 45 asbestos-related claims, none of which are covered by insurance,

 

according to a Company report, on Form 6-K, filed with the Securities and

 

Exchange Commission.

 

Subject was forced to ask for agreements with the Trade union to cut labour costs.
