fuer Gesundheit GmbH has awarded the contract to Karl Storz GmbH & Co.KG,
for endoscopy, endosurgery devices. Open procedure was followed for awarding
this contract. The contract is not covered by the Government Procurement
Agreement (GPA) and will not be sub-contracted to third party.
Scope of work is
to delivery, installation and handing over of 4 pieces of endoscopy systems for
the Central-op area of use of different equipment in the accident and
reconstructive surgery, gynecology / urology, and one endoscopy system
optional.
The contractor was
selected after scrutinizing 5 bidders who did bidding for this contract. The
contractor was not selected through an electronic auction process. The contracting
authority is purchasing on behalf of other contracting authorities.

endoscopic stitching machine. The Inventors are Klundt Kurt and Moll Philipp.
Karl Storz GmbH
& Co. KG filed the patent application April 23, 2007. The patent
application number is 1437/KOLNP/2007 A. The International classification
number is H04L29/06.
According to the
Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, "The invention
relates to an endoscopic stitching machine, comprising a housing for mounting
the actuators for the stitch-forming tools (needle, gripper and pressure pad),
and a housing shaft to house means for transmission of the movements generated
by the actuators to the stitch-forming tools, whereby the housing shaft and the
transmission means are divided into two shaft parts and lower and upper
transmission means, in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction
thereof, detachably connected to each other by means of a corresponding
coupling piece, whereby the coupling pieces may be introduced into and
positively housed within corresponding recesses of the lower and upper
transmission means, parallel to the section plane and running in the
longitudinal direction of the transmission means."
