at Miao-Li was completed. TOK Taiwan Co.,Ltd., a joint venture by
Chang Chun Petrochemical Co.Ltd. and Tokyo Ohka Co.,Ltd. of Chang Chun Plastics' Hsin-Chu Factory
completed its Liquid Photo Reisit for Circuit Board was
developed and producted in Hsin-Chu Factory. Dairen Chemical’s VAM Plant switched to
produce Allyl Alcohol with capacity 89,000MTY. |

completed and production commenced. Epoxy Flame Retardant was successfully
developed and produced in Hsin-Chu Factory. Ta-Fa Factory of Chang Chun Plastics

O. C.. The continuous process of PBT Resin at
Kaohsiung Factory was completed. Miao-Li factory of Chang Chun Petrochemical

O. C.. Developer Plant in Miao-Li was completed

Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd. and Miao-Li factory of Chang Chun Petrochemical
Co., Ltd. passed the Verification of ISO-9002 which were audited by Bureau of
Commercial Inspection & Quarantine Ministry of Economic Affairs. Plants of PT. Chang Chun DPN Chemical

Plant started-up with capacity 1,000Mty at Kaohsiung Factory. |

Chang Chun Petrochemical began to build its
Antioxidant Plant at Miao-Li. Expansion of Copper Foil Plant at Miao-Li
was completed. Flue gas desulfurization system and trubine
machine were completed and commenced operation at the co-generation plant at
Miao-Li. Sales of power to Taiwan Power Company started. Chang Chun Petrochemical began to build
Waste Water Treatment Plant in Miao-Li with United Chemical Laboratory's UASB
process. The third Copper Clad Laminates Plant at
Hsin-Chu was completed in June. Polyester Plasticizer Plant at Construction of Molding Compound and Paper
Strength Resin Plants of PT. Chang Chun DPN Chemical Industry, Expansion of α-Cyanoacrylate Adhesive
by 360MTY at Ta-Fa factory of Chang Chun Plastics was completed, construction

Miao-Li was completed and commenced production. Expansion of both Epoxidized Soyabean Oil
plant and Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsion plant were completed. Epoxy Resin Molding powder plant at

Acrylic Emulsion plant expansion at Miao-Li
was completed. Construction of the new manufacturing process
pilot plant for Urea Molding Cornpound at POM plant of TEPCO at Ta-Fa was completed
and production commenced. |

factory was completed. The second plany of co-generation was

manufactured at Chang Chun Plastics Kaoshiung factory was licensed from ADEKA
ARGUS CHEMICAL CO.,LTD. Chang Chun Plastics Kaohsiung factory began
to produce Reactive Diluents for Epoxy Resin. Established Chang Chiang Chemical Co.,
Ltd., a joint venture between Chang, Chun Plastics and ASAHl DENKA KOGYO CO.,
LTD. (ADEKA ARGUS) Hsin-Chu factory of Tai Hong Circuit Ind.
Co. was completed and began to produce Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards. |

Copper Foil plant at Chang Chun
Petrochemical' Miao-Li factory was completed and production commenced. Developed the manufacturing process for
Trimethylol Propane (TMP). Later, commercial plant was completed and
production commenced. The second plant of Epoxidized Soyabean Oil
at Miao-Li was completed. Established Tsu-Kong Co., TION, a joint
venture between Chang Chun Plastics and Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd. of The fourth line of Epoxy Resin Plant at
Hsin-Chu was completed. Epoxy Resin Molding Encapsulant plant at
Hsin-Chu was completed. PBT plant at Chang Chun Plastics Kaohsiung factory began
to produce Flocculants (Emulsion type). Established Taiwan Engineering Plastics
Co., Ltd., a joint venture by Chang Chun Group, Hoechst AG. of Germinay,
Hoechst Celanese Corp. of USA, Polyplastics Co., Ltd. of Japan and Hoechst
Taiwan, for the production of 20,000 MTY POM (Poly Acetal). Dairen Chemical’s EVA Emulsion No.4 unit
started-up with capacity 6,600MTY at Kaohsiung Factory. |

Plasticizer at Chang Chun Plastics' Chang Chun Petrochemical began to design
and build the Copper Foil Plant. The third auto production line of Single
Sided Printed Circuit Board was completed by Tai Hong Circuit Ind. Co.. Epoxy Resin, and Phenolic Resin Plant at
Hsin-Chu were completed further expanded. The Premix Plant at The PBT plant and Epoxy Resin Molding
