PROFILE:
Subject is one of the educational Society in the Western Maharashtra.
It was established by the statesman. Late Mr. Rajarambapu Patil in 1945.
Considering the need of time, the Society focused attention on taking the
education to the threshold of the rural masses by starting schools in the
nearby villages and a hostel for backward class students at Kasegaon.
After the untimely and sad demise of Mr. Rajarambapu Patil in 1984, it was Mr.
Jayant Patil, his son, who alike his father entered his public life through
educational activities. He shouldered the responsibility of Kasegaon Education
Society. Mr. Jayant Patil took the Society with time, diversifying its
educational facilities. Today the Society has 31 primary and secondary schools
and 11 higher educational institutes under its umbrella. This includes three arts,
commerce and science colleges, three information technology institutes, an
engineering college, two management institute, a nursing institute and a
pharmacy college.
The Society has been conferred with prestigious awards like ‘Dr. Babasaheb
Ambedkar Dalitmitra Sanstha Purskar’, ‘State Award for Educational Institutes’.
Certificates of appreciation have also been awarded to the Society by C-DAC and
MKCL for its exemplary contribution towards computer literacy.
Rajarambapu Institute of Technology has proved to be a landmark development of
the Society as well as instrument for expanse of its horizon.
Subject is a educational organization in Maharashtra
established in 1945, by Mr. Rajarambapu Patil. The Society was founded by a
dedicated group of individuals who were deeply concerned with the lack of
educational opportunities for the youth of Maharashtra. Determined to improve
the low literacy rate in the state, the Society has established a series of
schools, colleges and vocational training institutes over the last 60 years.
These educational institutes are comprised of Primary, Middle, Secondary and
Higher Secondary Schools, Arts and Commerce Colleges, Institutes of Technology,
Institutes of Business Administration, Vocational Training, Dairy Management,
Nursing, Pharmacy and Industrial Training. Currently, Kasegaon Society
runs 46 institutes, employs over 1100 people and provides education to more
than 26,000 students.
Subject‘s Rajarambapu Institute of Technology is one of the
leading Engineering Institutes in Maharashtra. It is recognized by the
Government of Maharashtra as an “A” grade Institute and is accredited by the
All Council for India Technical Education (AICTE) and National Board of
Accreditation. All Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges of The Society have also
been accredited by University Grants Commission and the National Accreditation
and Assessment Council.
In their quest to continue to provide quality education to
their community, the Society has established Ascend International School in the
Bandra Kurla Complex of Mumbai. AIS will open its doors to students in August
2012.

He has passed out from Satara Sainik School (Army Preparatory School / Boarding School) with good achievements in Sport and Academics. He had keen interest in design of Machines hence preferred to join the College of Engineering, Poona for Completing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. While Pursuing Engineering had keen interest in rowing and headed the Managing Committee of the Boat Club of C.O.E.P.
After Graduation, he worked as Design Engineer in industries in Pune and Mumbai for a few years where in he was involved in Design of Vacuum plants and in Design of E.O.T. Cranes. With this experience he started an Engineering Unit in Mumbai.
Later on having decided to diversify in other Business started Garden Court Restaurant in Western Suburbs of Mumbai which has grown into a Chain of Successful Restaurant.
Established Rajaram Solvex Limited a solvent Extraction Plant ( Manufacturing Edible Oils) with a capacity of 100 T.P.D. which has now grown into multiple plants with a capacity of 750 T.P.D. Simultaneously went on to incorporate Garden Court Distilleries private Limited which has trading interest in Ethanol and Sugar and Generation of Energy from Renewable Sources such as Wind.
Being Passionate about Education like his Father (Late Rajarambapu Patil) has always been taking interest in Development of Kasegaon Education Society.
