and Paper Mill has signed up Metso to upgrade its recovery boiler #4 at its
mill in Novodvisk, in northwestern Russia. The Rouble 65 million ($2.1
million) project, which will see the boiler fitted with a new economizer, is
aimed at improving the unit's efficiency and reducing costs. The boiler's
emissions will also be minimized as a result of the investment. Arkhangelsk
has scheduled the work for Q4 201 2-Q1 2013. Bellmer will
rebuild the pulp dewatering machine and supply a hydraulic headbox and shoe
press to Schweighofer's Hallein pulp mill in Austria. With a large-scale
modernization project in Hallein, the Schweighofer group aims at an extension
of the company's product range. In future, in addition to the pulp for the
paper industry, also high-quality viscose pulp for the textile/ and food
industries will be manufactured. Bellmer's scope of supply comprises the
proven circular distributor TURBOCircler fea-turing equal distribution of the
stock flow across the entire inlet width of the headbox. The dilution water system
TURBODiluter designed for optimal profile control forms also part of the
supply. The hydraulic headbox TURBOJetter enables equal CD profile right from
the beginning and thus takes care of an excellent formation of the paper web. Andritz has
started up the steel yankee and headbox supplied to a customer in Indonesia
for a new MG paper machine. With a shell length of 7.4 m, this steel yankee
is the longest of the world. In addition to the PrimeDry Steel Yankee and the
