REVIEW OF PERFORMANCE

The company has achieved a turnover of Rs. 32220.500 Million as against Rs. 26412.700 Million for the previous financial year. The net profit after tax for the financial year under review is Rs. 1046.500 Million as against Rs. 661.500 Million for the previous financial year.

PROSPECTS

The order book position as on 31 st March, 2014 Rs.173.380 Million comprising of a portfolio of contracts, EPC’s and BOT’s. It is poised to capture a predominant space in the Indian infrastructure sky in the coming years as company delivering timely and quality services across a broad spectrum of irrigation, ports, roads and bridges, piling/diaphragm wall and other marine structures.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Incorporated during the year 1986, the Company is engaged in Geo Technical Constructions during the initial years carving for itself for a niche in this field in a short span of time. After establishing a brand by its sheer commitment and state-of-the-art expertise, it had forayed into other infrastructure projects in its pledge to the national growth.

In the last few years, the format of infrastructure business in India has undergone transformation. To a large extent, the phenomenon of age-old "cash contracts" is paving way for Private-Public-Partnerships (PPPs) in the form of Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and its variants. These BOTs are generally awarded to Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) of the bidding parent companies and it is the parent companies that generally undertake the execution of the EPCs of the BOTs.

Accordingly, the Company has bagged many prestigious BOT Projects. Now apart from undertaking the “Cash Contracts”, the Company, through Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV’s), is engaged in the business of Development, Operations & Management and Execution of infrastructure projects, predominantly in the Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) space in the verticals of Highways, Bridges and Tunnels for Central and State Governments, Local Bodies and Private Sector.
