SEGMENTAL INFORMATION
The Company has identified three reportable segments viz. manufacture of food colours, power generation from windmills and power generation from solar power plant. Segments have been identified and reported taking into account nature of products and services, the differing risks and returns and the internal business reporting systems. The accounting policies adopted for segment reporting are in line with the accounting policy of the Company with following additional policies for segment reporting.
STATE OF COMPANY'S
AFFAIRS:
The total revenue generated by the Company during the financial year was INR 6091.300 Million against INR 5594.000 Million for the previous financial year 2014-15 yielding a growth of 8.89%. Further company achieved the net profit of INR 640.700 Million in comparison to previous year net profit of INR 464.500 Million and registered a growth of 37.93%. Members are aware that company is always endeavor toward sustainable development and business practices, in line of such values company diversified its business activities into renewable energy projects and installed solar power plant in Rajasthan in year 2014-15, now company is proposed to install wind mill project in Madhya Pradesh.
Further with respect to company’s core Colours business, company incorporated 2 new foreign subsidiaries i.e. Roha Gida Katki Maddeleri TIC Ltd STI, Turkey and Roha Argentina SRL, Argentina, in order to capture Colours market of new territory and all this moves are motivated to achieve long term vision of company of becoming global leader in Colours industry.
